150+ Pastry Tart Shells

This morning my DH and I made over 150 tart shells from scratch~~~and we did not know what we were doing! LOL! My old Betty Crocker cookbook really helped us out. We baked from 7:30 to 12:30 and then my DH rushed them to the church to fill them for the Mother-Daughter Tea.

The tart shells were EVERYWHERE~ so were the crumbs!

My little kitty Beatrice (AKA Button) helped too.

We were sad that we missed our worship service, but we tuned into K-LOVE and sang praise music as we rolled, formed and baked.

The tea was a success! I stayed home and caught up on laundry, vacuuming, and pouring resin into my latest pendant, but the buzz was that many of the ladies of the church had a lovely time eating scones, tarts, and finger sandwiches.

Monday is here so soon. May God be with you this day and always, my friends~

Hey Ma! You are a super stud!! The only woman I know that could bake all weekend and still get the laundry done. ::sigh:: I have so much to learn!
Love you lots!

I have tried pastry shells, but they do not look like that!!! I lived in England in the early 60's and me and my best friend Val would walk downtown to a pastry shop and have custard pastry and a cup of tea!!!!!! Oh my gosh, those pastries were out of this world... Now having said that yours might be out of this world but I only have the pictures to judge!!! You are really Betty Crocker arn't you?
