Finished Linda's earrings this morning~~wow! Took about a week and a half for these, going bit by bit. YAY GOD that my wrists are improving. Gratefulness just washes over me.
Started this necklace in June 2009, but had to set it aside. Finished it yesterday when my Praise Band buddies Jane and Nancy came over for a beading-chick flick-taco salad party. THE BEST TIME was had by all.
Here it is on...modeled by my neck~~ I just LOVE it! It was inspired by a necklace that was worn on "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Part 2".
May your Wednesday be blessed~~~I go back to work tomorrow! I'll be doing mammograms again! Time to save some lives~~~To God be the glory.

Hi Chris, Thank you for your beautiful comment and visit...I thought that I went overboard on my story and revealed too much..I almost deleted it. On second thought I realised this is about me and my healing and my journey..Telling the story outloud really makes it feel like its over and I can rejoice in my life now!! Looks like all of the "damaged kids" become jewelers!! ha , ha.. Yes, not having any "role models" was not good as a kid, that is why I call myself a Late Bloomer..I am 57 going on 20...how cool is that...Again, I love your work...especially the first 3 stone wrapped pieces in you flickr...cynthia
