hope pray believe...stamped in copper

"hope pray believe"...I had such fun making this yesterday!  I made this for me, and it's a bit different than my usual style.  It's always fun to try something new.  Got to use my new "Tiny Dancer" letter stamps.  Beaducation is my personal crack store!
May your week be full of joyful moments, good friends and productivity~~

I've Been Busy! Copper Earrings Day

I've been busy today!  This pair was lots and lots of sawing.  I started them last week and finally got to patina them yesterday.  I LOVE the way they turned out!  And they kinda resemble Christmas ornaments, right?  Perfect for Christmas parties~~:-)

These hearts make me smile~~I drew them on the copper with a very fine point Sharpie.   Hearts...I just love 'em!    And I wanted the copper circles to frame them.  The turquoise was a last-minute decision.  Originally I was going to use abalone beads, but the turquoise called out to me.  Yep, called my name! lol
Copper, Citrine, Prehnite and Copper chain.  Fun and light to wear.

OK, all I need to do now is get out of my jammies (2:43 PM Pacific Standard Time...for shame!), brush my hair and teeth and run to Studio 41.

I'm so very thankful for you all.   Thank you for reading my blog and sharing your thoughts.  You are important to me and I wish you the best Thanksgiving and lots of blessings as we head into the Christmas season.   Mmmmmmwah~!

Cold Connection Encouragement~Citrine, Heliador, Copper and Brass

That's what my workbench looked like last week.  I was riveting another "Encouragement Pendant".  See my cute little clamps?  They really help.  And the painter's tape helps keep marks away~~

Tah Dah!!!  It's finished today.  I get to test-wear it to Women of Faith conference in Sacramento on Friday.   I'm so looking forward to an amazing time with friends and a bunch of other Christian women.  How lucky I am~ How blessed I am.

And here's a present for a lovely niece.  She'll get this Saturday.  I hope she likes them!  She specified "small and hearts"....OK!
Have a wonderful Thursday, all.  Veteran's Day.  Thank you, every Veteran.  Thank you for protecting my wonderful country.  God bless you.

Love, Laughter and Joy~~Necklace for Ieshia

I'm so happy to finish this commission piece for a friend. She needed it last Sunday! But the wrists tell me how fast I can work~~And they are my boss! I've found that wrist braces help so much.
Citrine, Peridot, Brass, Copper, Glass beads too.

One rivet is a bit funky....rats! But I'm getting better. These are brass escutcheon nails from Ace Hardware. I love the way they look~

You are all wished LOVE, LAUGHTER AND JOY~ It's Thursday my friends. Time to do yoga and have a joyful day. May we all be a blessing to others!

Fundraiser Piece

Ryolite, Prehnite and Copper Pendant

Necklace of Peruvian Chalcedony, Copper, Citrine, Ryolite, Glass, Copper Chain.

My DD asked me for a piece for an American Cancer Society fundraiser. This piece evolved very easily. My DH had prostate cancer two years ago. It was caught very early, so we are optimistic about no recurrences. But I look forward to the day that cancer is an obsolete term, when no man has to have prostate surgery, no woman has to have a lumpectomy or mastectomy...
Hope you have a blessed day. I'm sitting here in my pajamas at 10:13 AM and need to clean off my workbench. And vacuum! Dog and cat hair begone!
Hugs and love to you all~~

My Brain is Fried BUT I Finished This Bracelet!

I've been a creative frenzy since Tuesday. I've been stumped on a new gallery piece, something very different from my other pieces. Tuesday night I came up with this design while I was trying to sleep! I began cutting out the copper charms last night and spent all day today putting it all together. I'm really fried~:-) But so glad this is done!!!

The main stones are citrine, Peru chalcedony and ametrine. Then lots of little gemstones, glass beads, stamped copper sheet and copper wire.

This Saturday, March 21, please come by Studio 41 11-4 if you're anywhere in the Benicia area~~I'll be hanging out and talking about jewelry or the weather or life in general. And some other women artists will be there too! So please visit if you can!

Bless you all my friends~Peace fill you this lovely Thursday.

Great Quote and New Jewelry

A new necklace and earrings for the gallery!! I spent most of Saturday in my jammies working hard on these pieces. Very happy~ Peridot, Citrine, Amethyst, Copper, Silver~~

And on another note.......
I read a great quote in the Feb. 09 Ladies' Home Journal in an article by Margaret Renkl titled "Find Your Happy Place"

"One of the best ways to keep negativity at bay is to skip the venting, says Rick Foster, coauthor of "How We Choose To Be Happy". You may think that complaining to friends and family about your unreasonable mother-in-law or your overdue bills will help relieve the pressure you feel. In fact, says Foster, all you're doing is digging yourself a really deep trench of dispair. "If you keep on reliving the feeling, you're trapping yourself in the negativity."

I LOVE this quote. Now if I can just LIVE this quote. I tend to vent. Over and over. And I need to realize that it's not making me happy~~ So onto dealing better with frustration!

May your week be blessed. May you feel His guidance and love. Amen!

Made some earrings: "Joy" with citrine and garnet beads and some stamped hoops with fluorite, citrine and labradorite beads. Hunched over the workbench a lot today~~sometimes I wish I had a live-in chiropractor and yoga instructor! LOL!

bless you all~~~

Sunday Night

Sunday night. Time to finish my laundry and make sure that my really cool white scrub pants are clean and dry. I use the term "really cool" very very lightly. My husband won't even be seen in public with me when I wear them! LOL! And I cut quite a figure in my white Dansko clogs, long sleeved top and white lab coat. Yep, the fashion police are gonna get me!

OK, no picture of me in my scrubs, but a pic of one of my favorite necklaces. I wear this one about once a week. Citrine, garnet and copper. Yum.

I hope that your weekend was lovely, your Sunday was blessed, and your new week is smooth. In Jesus' strong name I pray! Amen.
